About This Product
Erigon Cuvée 2022
Premium Dry Red Wine | Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot & Syrah | Tikveš Wine Region
Erigon Cuvée 2022 is a profound, beautifully structured, and deeply expressive showcase of our winemaking philosophy, crafted to achieve the ultimate harmony between three noble varieties. This exceptional signature blend combines the muscular structure and longevity of Cabernet Sauvignon 50%, the lush, velvety fruitiness of Merlot 30 and the dark, peppery exoticism of Syrah 20%. Patiently cellared for at least 12 months in select oak barrels, the resulting wine balances intense concentration with polished complexity, standing as a premium monument to the depth of our sunny terroir.
In the glass, it commands attention with a dense, dark ruby-purple color with an almost opaque core. The bouquet is remarkably rich, layered, and commanding, unfolding concentrated aromas of ripe blackcurrants, dark plums, and wild blackberries, seamlessly integrated with sophisticated notes of roasted coffee beans, dark cocoa, sweet tobacco leaf, and a delicate touch of toasted oak spice. On the palate, this vintage is full-bodied, robust, and beautifully texturing. It wraps the mouth in a velvet coat of firm, ripe, and masterfully rounded tannins, balanced by a well-integrated acidity that guides the massive fruit weight into an exceptionally long, warming, and elegant finish. Under the expert and dedicated hand of chief winemaker Lazar Ristov, Erigon Cuvée is a timeless masterpiece of balance and power.
Serving Suggestion: Best served at a temperature of 16–18°C. Decanting for 30–45 minutes before serving is highly recommended to let its intricate layers breathe.
Food Pairing: A magnificent partner for rich culinary experiences. It pairs phenomenally with grilled ribeye steaks, slow-roasted lamb shank with rosemary, wild boar stew, venison, rich tomato-based pasta dishes, and mature, savory hard cheeses.
